- Colour Text Package 2.0.1 © 1993 Nigel Perry
-
- The file “Colour Text Stack” contains details on how to use this
- package and the licence conditions. This “ReadMe” file only deals
- with the use of fonts.
-
- The Colour Text Package contains three different versions of the same
- fonts, they are stored in:
-
- 1) “Colour Text Stack”. You may use this stack WITHOUT installing any
- fonts, the ones in the stack file itself will be used. Though this is supported
- by HyperCard it is not recommended, if you intend to use Colour Text in your
- own projects (subject to license of course, see stack) then it is best for you
- to use one of the other two versions of the fonts.
-
- 2) “Colour Text Fonts”. This is a font file containing the fonts supplied
- as part of this package. It may be opened using SuitCase (and presumably
- MasterJuggler & CarpetBag) and ResEdit. It CANNOT be opened using Finder 7,
- you will be told the file is damaged if you try; the file is NOT damaged its
- just that the Finder thinks it is…
-
- 3) “Colour Text Fonts (Finder 7)”. This is a Finder 7 compatible version
- of (2). If you don't own SuitCase (or MasterJuggler or CarpetBag) and you
- are not a ResEdit hacker then you must use this version of the fonts. Note that
- this file is 122K compared to the mere 10K of (2) (the fonts in the stack also
- only take 10K). If you don't need this version then trash it and save the disc
- space. Also the other versions take up less memory when in use.
